Skateoygi s a skateboard school based in Brooklyn, NY. that offers camps, classes, and lessons to all age groups. The identity celebrates the values of the Skateyogi community and captures their inclusive approach to learning.

Designed with Garrett Corcoran and Jesse Reed at Order.

Skateyogi was born out of the idea to teach skateboarding to a yoga studio that co-founder Kevin Banahan was attending in 2013.

In the years since, it has expanded to numerous classes, lessons, camps, and most recently, a second location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Circle Time, a moment of reflection at the beginning of every Skateyogi class, encapsulates everything the organization stands for.

The O of the logo, set to resemble a skateboard wheel, is used as an icon for social media or other small applications.

The color circles are visual representations of the skaters and their varied personalities. Used in a group, they echo the social and kinetic dynamics that occur in skateboard parks.

The brand system allows for a wide range of expression.
